Did you know that today, June 15th is National Nature Photography day! This day is dedicated to celebrating nature photography and its role in helping conservation efforts of the National Wildlife Federation.
Want to help celebrate? Get outside and take some pictures of the beauty that surrounds you. We’re blessed with lots of it here in Central Florida. Next, help us in sharing the beauty of nature around us by posting your pics on our Facebook page! Just click here and start posting!
Here are a couple of quick tips to taking better photos; First, don’t center your pictures. You can gain interest by using the principle of thirds. Put your object in one third of the space, it’s off center and often more interesting.
Next, get close, then zoom in closer. Phones are amazing tools these days, and these features are getting better and better all the time. Time of day, the light is softer early in the morning and before dusk in the evening, especially in the hot summer months.
Last tip, take lots and lots of photos! Practice, try different angles and perspectives. you’ll learn a lot and we look forward to seeing what you come up with! Share with us!
