Orlando-Kissimmee comes in fifth in an index that ranks metropolitan areas based on their ability to create and sustain jobs. Components of the index published by the Milken Institute measure job, wage and salary, and technology growth. Taking three of the top ten spots, Florida's metros ranked very well.
