Orlando-Kissimmee comes in fifth in an index that ranks metropolitan areas based on their ability to create and sustain jobs. Components of the index published by the Milken Institute measure job, wage and salary, and technology growth. Taking three of the top ten spots, Florida's metros ranked very well. Remembering Tom Hickman

Thomas A. Hickman, 55, of Richland Hills, TX died Saturday, March 15. He is survived by his his wife of 29 years, Lisa Hickman and their son Matthew. Here in Ocala, Tom will be remembered for hosting at his Red Lobster restaurant Thanksgiving dinners for the homeless.
