The annual NHRA Gatornationals comes to Gainesville March 11 – 14 at the Gainesville raceway on County Road 225.  This event brings some of the best NHRA drivers to town and offers four days of edge-of-your-seat driving excitement.

Tickets for Gatornationals can be purchased through Ticketmaster.  Daily passes and four-day passes are available and this event is family friendly.

The Art Fair starts this evening featuring arts from many local artisans, live music, and activities for all ages including telescopes to star gaze plus a solar telescope to safely view the sun. For the runners: Join the Panhellenic 5K Run/Walk to benefit Peacefull Paths. What could be more cool that spending the night in a real museum? Well, you and your kids can find out with the "Overnight at the Museum" event, this Saturday, Feb 27, at the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville.

This overnight program is designed for families with children ages 6-12. Program begins at 7 p.m. and runs until 9 a.m. the following morning. Members are $50 for a parent/child pair, $20 for each additional person. Non-members are $65 for a parent/child pair, $25 for each additional person (maximum parent to child ratio is 1:3)

Join IHOP and celebrate National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 23. From 7 am to 10 pm, IHOP will serve up a FREE shortstack of their famous buttermilk pancakes to each guest. In exchange, they do accept donations which will be given to the Children's Miracle Network.

Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $3.25 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates.

"A Celebration of Wine"  is being held today, February 21, from 1-4 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the University of Florida's Reitz Student Union. Entry is $60 per person at the door.
