Just a quick reminder: Don't open emails from people you don't know or trust. Lately, there is an email going around with a link ending in .exe. Downloading an executable file from an email is a bad idea. Do you really know what it will install on your computer?

They crossed over to the island of La Gonave to the town of Anse à Galet and worked in the hospital there for one day, then continued on to the village of Mapou the next.

Food is so scarce that it can't be purchased because of the influx of people from the mainland. Please donate to purchase rice and beans and fund the cost of the shipment. There is a medical group leaving Ocala as early as Sunday morning that will take these goods with them.

Missionary Flights International can take additional cargo for $1.00 per pound making a 50 lbs bag of rice about $67. To support ongoing efforts, donations can be made at International Ministries of Hope.

Christmas is celebrated in different ways all over the world. In Belgium, Sinterklaas comes December 6th, and Kerstman leaves his presents on the 25th. In Germany, wreaths are hung during Adventskranz, the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas.

In Australia, everyone heads to the beach. It's summer for them. In Russia, Father Frost brings presents on January 7th. In Iraq, Christmas is celebrated with a bonfire and singing. (Sounds like my uncles.) In Japan, children receive gifts and adults enjoy a romantic date, similar to Valentine's day.

Around here, we light up our ads with a animated border. This year you'll see snow falling as Santa flies by. Add this border when you place your classified. But hurry, the border is only available for a limited time.
