Embarq Customers can Enable HTML for Emails
If you have a problem reading HTML emails, or cannot read or see HTML emails, or cannot click links in emails when you read your emails on Embarqmail.com, it is because of your webmail settings. Embarqmail is changing your HTML emails into a plain text format.
For instance, when you place a classified ad with us, you will receive a confirmation email from helpdesk@usa4sale.net containing a link that allows you to update or cancel your ad. However, if you are an Embarq customer, you might not be able to see that email. Or you might not be able to click on that link.
Another example occurs when someone responds to your classified ad. You receive an email from donotreply@usa4sale.net containing a link that allows you to read the seller's comments and respond to their questions.
There is a simple method to correcting the problem.
- Login to your Ebmarqmail account at http://www.embarqmail.com.
- Add helpdesk@usa4sale.net and donotreply@usa4sale.net to your address book.
Click the Options tab (next to Mail, Address Book, and Calendar).
Click the Mail tab (next to General).

Near the bottom, click the checkbox for "View mail as HTML (when possible)."
At the top, click Save. Wait about 20 seconds.
Now you should be able to return to your Inbox and view HTML emails properly. Links will now be functional.
