It’s helpful to know what your photos will look like when you publish your inventory items. On our Web site, photos look best if they are 400 pixels wide and 300 pixels tall.
They look fine up to 400x400px, but once the photo becomes taller than it is wide, it gets squashed. Like this:
On the detail page the photo will be back to normal. But a better idea would be to crop the photo differently or take another photo. Like this:

Microsoft Paint allows you to resize and crop photos. The versions that come with Vista and 7 are easier to use than earlier versions of the program.
