27th Annual Light Up Ocala is Saturday, November 20th 2-8:30 pm. Bring the whole family and friends for a day of fun, arts and crafts, food, live music, entertainment and the lighting of Downtown Ocala. This year features the special treat of seeing Ocala’s downtown and the historic district atop a 55-foot-tall Ferris wheel. That’s high. You would be looking down on the Christmas tree which stands at 40 feet. Ferris wheel tickets are $2 per ride.
Santa will be available 2-3pm and 6-7pm in the old Chamber lot. The angels living statues will perform across from Harry’s on every half hour 2:30 till 7:30. Also, more parking is available next to the stone building, directly across Pine Ave from our World HQ.
Music performances can be heard across three stages. This night of entertainment will feature musical performances Chris McCarty, Kelly Lynn, Victoria Sexton, Norman Lee and The Boondock Saints, Robert Sancho, One Flite Up, Fear to Fail Band, The Kazoobie Kazoo Show, Old Skool, and Howard Middle School Chorus. As well as performances by local dance schools including Performing Arts Conservatory, Florida Twirling Academy, Honey’s School of Dance, Extensions Dance Studio, Mary Ellen School of Dance Team, Ocala Dance Force, Madison Street Academy Les Premieres, JBS Dance Studio, A Step Above Dance Studio. And more!
