The Florida Gateway Challenge is June 10th at Hopeful Baptist Church, Lake City. The tournament is now a NASKA 2A Rated Event and is also affiliated with ISKA and MAC Circuit. Sensei Laura Lindboe and the Academy of Martial Arts are dedicating this year’s tournament to veterans, active duty military, and first responders. Come out and show support!

The WoofStock Festival, hosted by Covenant Pet Trust, will be held March 11 at Darby Pavilion near Lake DeSoto in downtown Lake City.
In addition to the 4th Annual Columbia County Doxie Derby Races, the festival will include a 5K Fun Run/Walk, Parade of Paws along Marion St., and a new event–the K9 Team Challenge–in which teams of 4 and their dogs compete for the Fire Hydrant Award.
